At the request of the owners, KWE carried out a thorough restoration to their Jaguar XKR. This included a full bare metal body restoration to remove all rust and repaint in its original Pacific Blue colour. The suspension, brakes and steering were fully stripped and rebuilt to Jaguar XKR specification, the main sub-frame assemblies were shot blasted, zinced and powder coated. The differential was reconditioned at the same time to ensure long life. All components including shocks, springs, discs, steering rack, PAS pump, bearings, bushes etc were replaced. The supercharged V8 underwent our perishable engine service to replace the coolant hoses, drive belts, ignition leads as well as performing a general 20000-mile service with cooling system upgrade. It's interior leather trim was renewed in Ivory leather. The result was a reborn modern classic ready to be enjoyed as if it was driven out the showroom. Plea [...]
