LED Exterior lights

With these long, dreary nights, it’s time to upgrade your lights to brighter, better, LEDs. KWE firmly believes that brighter lights make for safer driving both for you and for other road-users who will be able to spot you from further away.

The XJS does not excel in this area, having rather dim rear lights – especially the facelift cars with their smoked-glass lenses.

KWE has the solution! We can fit very high quality LED lamp sets to the rear clusters, reverse & number plate, front minor lights, and wing repeaters. Unfortunately it is no longer legal to fit HID or even LED headlamps to classic cars, but we can fit much brighter legal headlamp filament bulbs to great advantage. Our lamps are not cheap Chinese LEDs from China!

Cost varies a little between models – or if there are any damaged lamp holders – but budget for around £450 inc vat for the basic replacement. This can be enhanced with improvements to the dash lighting, and AC control lighting (pre-facelift cars), dash reconditioning & test, and removal of the bulb fail lamp which is activated where LEDs are fitted (because they take so little power they appear to be blown)!
