A mild touch up and machine polishA respray of the whole exterior and door shuts, with rust repairs, optionally with an engine-out engine bay repaint and detailingA full body strip, restoration and repaint in any colourIn the latter two cases we strip off all the brightwork, bumpers, lamps and accessories and refurbish them in the process. We always re-assemble with new or reconditioned fasteners – and with plenty of grease to ease subsequent dismantling. We pay particular attention to any areas of rust in hidden areas and will not let the job go until we’re satisfied that rust has been arrested and vulnerable areas are re-coated. This approach is expensive given the luxury level of trim on these cars, but assures the customer that we have not skimped. We urge customers to have their cars rust-protected since this is what, in the end, can kill off the car.We offer full hidden cavity wax injection with special attention to wheel arches and rear portions of front wings. We can also high pressure wash the underside, attend to rust and re-coat in modern underbody sealant. Click here to read more about our rust repairs and protection services..
Stylish. Comfortable. Relaxing.A KWE interior is a luxurious place to be, with the wonderful aromas of fresh leather, the sight of glistening woods and the warmth of a wool carpet. We help every customer through the interior specification, based on long experience, sound advice and a little of our own in-house creative flair. For instance, we find that matching the seat and door card piping to the body or convertible hood colour has become very popular. Additionally, by contrasting carpet edging with finely crafted floormats, special textures such as perforated centre sections and subtly contrasting colours of leather, can all help to stamp your own distinctive character and requirements on your Jaguar. We also offer headlining renewals, a range of steering wheels and other trim replacements such as rear seat/box conversions, we've even made dog beds and sound systems to occupy the rear of your XJS. Here is a gallery of some of our interiors We also offer refurbishment of existing interior leather. See here Need more Information? [...]
Results can be astonishing when lost performance is restored! We offer three levels of engine renewal:The lowest level is our very popular Perishable/15000 mile service package, comprising a chemical coolant and oil flush, replacement of all coolant hoses, drive belts and ignition leads along with minor tuning if necessary and a full 15,000 mile service for the whole car. This can be upgraded to a 30,000 mile service. This package addresses the most common areas of failure in a classic engine and returns a high level of reliability while not setting out to restore or upgrade the engine. The next level is our Intensive Engine Overhaul which involves removing the engine, external strip and renewal or reconditioning of all ancillaries such as fuel injectors, pumps, fan, alternator, starter and the whole cooling system. This ensures very long life and reliability for old but low-wear engines. Provided the engine has been well serviced and is under 80,000 miles for a 6 cylinder or 100,000 miles for a 12 cylinder this is usually all that is necessary to restore full performance and reliability to the engine.Where required or necessary due to excess wear or damage we offer a Full Engine strip and reconditioning of all internal and exter [...]
From a safety and performance perspective the suspension, brakes and steering are the most important areas to renew and improve on…Unless recently professionally restored, regardless of mileage, all XJ-based suspension assemblies including the DB7’s will be very loose due to perishing of key rubber components, wear in joints and bearings, and weak springs and dampers. While there may be a valid MoT for the car, these wear and perishing problems accumulate to give poor steering precision, poor handling and unbalanced braking. It is common for only the most seriously worn (or MoT-failed) parts to be renewed, leaving the rest at or near end of life. KWE always replaces all wearing parts so that the car is better than new and correctly balanced. This leads to enormous driving pleasure – the KWE grin!Nearly all our upgrades and all as-new cars will include the popular KWE full suspension, brakes and steering upgrade rebuild which transforms these into precise-handling cars with superb Jaguar ride. However we can offer further improvements in handling by changing roll stiffness, ride height and springing. Brakes and steering can be uprated further for track use, Need more Information [...]
