What information we collect and how

The information we collect via the Website may include.

1. Any personal details you knowingly provide us with through forms and our email, such as name, address, telephone number etc.

2. In order to effectively process credit or debit card transactions it may be necessary for the bank or card processing agency to verify your personal details for authorisation outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Such information will not be transferred out of the EEA for any other purpose.

Terms & Conditions: These terms and conditions are subject to variation without notice. Where a customer’s car is undergoing works we will endeavour to inform the customer of any such changes as they are made. Our default payment terms for mid-level restorations are 30% upon commencement, 50% around 5 weeks into the build, and the balance on completion. For lengthy contracts we ask for an initial 30% deposit, then monthly variable payments to match our costs and margin. For smaller contracts we ask for 50% upon commencement and the balance on completion. We are prepared to discuss other payment schedules. We will not offer any credit, and so we reserve the right to ask the client to bring his payments up to date before progressing with further work, should that become necessary. We will not release the car until all payments have been made. While the car, if supplied by the customer, remains the property of its owner during the period of our works, these works (including parts and subcontract items) remain the property of KWE until full payment is made. KWE is commissioned to restore the body fully, renew the interior and rebuild the engine, along with KWE suspension, brakes and steering.

P5QuarterThis was one of the pre-Jaguarsport TWR-modified XJS coupés.

A standard 5.3 litre engine is fitted, but the suspension was uprated with a thicker anti roll bar and stronger road springs. 15″ Speedline alloys were more cosmetic than improving since the wheel arches do not allow significantly wider tyres. The interior is all cream with red piping, and the typical TWR white steering wheel.

The current engine will be retained even though it has had a major overheating event and the cylinders have been full of water for some years.
